Get the confetti ready. The debut album by indie pop duo Soft Velvet Lounge has finally arrived, and the party is just barely getting started.

Written during the COVID-19 pandemic via the internet, party animals Jasyln Talia and Zedadiah Martinez certainly make long distance projects look like a piece of cake.

It kicks off with the deluded yet delighted "House Party," which offers inviting melodies and lively wordplay throughout. Followed by their single "Polaroid Girl," which had quickly developed a devoted fanbase thanks to  YouTube playlists.
 

Produced by bassist Zedadiah Martinez and mixed/mastered by Ben Etter, whose credits boast a hefty serving of indiehead favorites (Deerhunter, Cate Le Bon and Washed Out just to name a few) the rest of the album is sure to prove itself just as classic as the album artwork suggests. This is one party you'll want to show up early to.
